In planning learning to think at a high level the obstacles that often arise is to prepare the conditions of the learning environment that supports the creation of thought processes and the growth of effective attitudes and behaviors. This process can be done with establish thinking activities with content through material collaboration, making conclusions, build representations, analyze and build relationships between concepts (Lewis and Smith, 1993).

Once fulfilled, the teacher needs to prepare a real situation that can stimulate high-level thought processes by creating dilemmas, confusion, challenges and abiguities of the planned problems students will face (King, Goodson and Rohani, 2006).
